Overview Overview
In Arcane Odyssey there are four primary stats builds: Spr, Mag, Str, and Wep. A character's stat build changes based on the percentage of skill points allocated to each. Each level up gives 2 skill points to distribute among the chosen stats. There is a total of 11 builds which are obtained via combining certain stats (ex: Mag + Wep = Conjurer). Each build has its own advantages and disadvantages in gameplay.

For example: Mage will be able to have up to 3 Magics, Conjurer can imbue weapons with magics, etc.</small>

Builds
----
There are three types of stat builds:
*Full builds which require 60% or more invested into one stat (Oracle, Mage, Berserker, Warrior).
*Hybrid builds which require at least 40% invested into two stats (Warlock, Conjurer, Warlord, Paladin, Knight, Juggernaut).
*Savant which requires either at least 15% in 3 or more stats and no more than 50% in one stat, or not meeting the requirements for any other build type.

Heading Resetting Stat Points
If a player is not satisfied with their current stat route, they are able to reset their points once per file for free in the info UI, available after reaching level 10. After this, they are only able to reset their stats by getting the Interchange status effect.

Players who reset their stats after achieving an awakening will be given back their Magic and/or Fighting Styles until they reapply their stats, which will be removed if their new build does not use it (e.g. Warrior will lose their Magic and Fighting Styles). However, they will always lose Lost and Rare Techniques/Spells, and these will have to be learned again. The player will also gain their new build's awakening once all their stat points have been applied.

List Awakening
An Awakening is an event that empowers characters, like gaining a second magic. During the story, there are two Awakenings - the first at approximately Level 120 and the second at around Level 250 (which is not yet obtainable). The powers granted by Awakenings depend on a character's build, but all builds receive passive energy recharge over time.

WARNING: Awakening a Stat Build will lock all unrelated Stats, and all points invested in those stats will be refunded.

List Awakening Effects
Outside of giving players new abilities depending on their route/build, first awakening does several things:

*Locking Players into their chosen build and resetting irrelevant stats to 0 for reallocation. This means they can no longer spend stat points on stats that aren’t relevant to their build post-awakening.
*Removing magic or fighting style if they are no longer relevant to the build. (Ex: Full Str would no longer have magic).
*The second fighting style/magic slots have increased skill/option unlock requirements depending on the build.
**The amount that 2nd fighting style unlock levels are increased by are: +90 for Berserker and +40 for Savant (The increase is less for the hybrid routes since they have fewer overall points in Str)
**The amount that 2nd magic unlock levels are increased by are: +120 for Mage and +50 for Savant.

Heading Imbuement
Imbuement

Imbuing adds the status effect of the Magic, Relics, (along with Spirit Energy's base stat buffs) or Fighting Style to the tool imbued, which is applied after the tool's own status effect. Additionally, it mixes the statistics (damage, speed, etc.) between the two.

Warlock, Mage's Dexterity, Warlord, Paladin, Juggernaut, Knight, Savant and Oracle are all stat builds capable of imbuement.

The synergies between the innate and imbued status effects apply, although:

*Synergy damage increases are 50% effective.
**When a magic is imbued into a fighting style, the fighting style's synergies are 0% effective.
**Custom interactions such as Crystal Magic's crystallized shatter is exempt from this rule.
*Slow statuses last 50% of their full duration.
*When an imbuement shares a status effect with the innate tool, the tier of that status effect increases, increasing its damage by 50% or, if the status deals no damage, extending its duration by 50%.
*Imbuing something hot (Fire Magic, Plasma Magic, etc) with something cold (Water Magic, Sailor Style) or vice versa results in a steam (scalded) imbuement, which mimics Fire Magic in stats.

Example: Sailor Style + Ice Magic

*Soaked (from Sailor Style)
*Sailor Style Synergy (+0%) + Ice Magic Synergy (+5%, replaces Soaked with Frozen)
*Freezing (from Ice Magic)
*Result: Frozen + Freezing + 10% Damage.

Spirit Energy imbuement grants an innate +10% Regeneration effect. It can also be used through a Relic, applying the Relic's stats on the base tool as well as the Relic's corresponding synergies (such as Eagle Patrimony imbue having Lightning's synergies).

By pressing H, a user can select what they want to imbue, as well as the ability to remove the imbuement of their tool.

Trivia Trivia
*The chance of escaping a Whirlpool will be based on a player's Str stat percentage (and the size of the Whirlpool).
*Str builds have resistance against limb loss, with Berserkers having 80% resistance, strength hybrids (Warlord/Warlock/Juggernaut) having 40% resistance, and Savants having 20% resistance.
*Mixing awakenings is a popular myth that came due to lack of information. When player decides to change build, they will automatically get awakenings of their builds.
*Mag builds aren't able to select the same magic that they already have after awakening. This was possible in Arcane Adventures, where the player would select their magic again in order to be able to use abilities two times without a cooldown.
*Attempting to awaken with no stat point invested prevents awakening to fix a loophole that allowed players to create Oracle builds, which were disabled from being made due to their lack of options for offense before Full Release.
*Though the amount of stat points does not determine overall damage, using a type of attack outside a player's stat build before awakening results in significantly reduced damage and size.
*Mage, Berserker, and Warlock will have a maximum of 24 move slots (3 magics/fighting styles, 8 move slots each).
*Knight builds will have a maximum of 30 move slots (3 weapons, 3 relics / 5 move slots each).
*Warrior and Oracle builds will have a maximum of 15 move slots. (3 weapons/relics, 5 move slots each).
*Conjurer and Warlord will have a maximum of 31 move slots (2 Magics/Fighting styles, 3 weapons).
*Savant will have a maximum of 46 move slots (1 fighting style/magic, 1 magic/fighting style, 3 weapons, 3 relics).
*Paladin and Juggernaut will have a total of 23 move slots. (1 Magic/Fighting Style(?) + 3 relics, 5 moves each).
*The Oracle build used to be called "Warden".
*The Oracle build is the only pure build that can imbue in Full Release unlike its counterparts. ( Mage, Berserker & Warrior )
*Charge aura varies depending on stat builds.
**Spr builds have a "soul" aura, which starts off as a light blue colour, but may change to gold/purple/red or stay as light blue depending on the player's choices and build.
**Str<nowiki/> builds have a charge aura that reflects their current primary fighting style.
**Wep<nowiki/> builds have a charge aura color dependent on their held weapon. If unarmed, it will be of their primary magic.
**Mag<nowiki/> builds have a charge aura that reflects their primary magic.
**Mixed builds have a combination of these to a lesser degree (less effects or some effects are completely removed, etc.).
*Before Full Release, players were restricted from using the Oracle (Warden) build as it was not ready for proper usage, due to the severe lack of spirit weapons and working rites at that time.
*Spr formerly was known as the stat Vitality and instead of increasing your capabilities in spirit energy, it increased your health before Full Release.
**Vitality used to reduce your base damage without the spirit energy or eagle patrimony imbuement before Full Release.
**The reason it did not increase your spirit capabilities is because the stat was not properly implemented during Early Access.
